Horse'n around

our 2 horses that we had corralled, Bandit(on the left) and Chief (on the right)...Chief was are stud until we had him gelded on Friday so all he has ever known is being in a pin...and Bandit if we let him out to pasture then we have to run him into a corral to catch him...so about 3 weeks ago when we were out at the ranch I saw them playing and rearing up at each other...at first we thought they were fighting but the more we watched we figured they were just playing...so I grabbed the cam and started shooting...these 2 are my favs of the whole scene...I wish they had been out to pasture doing this so the pin wasn't in the photos but we can't get everything we want...

after all of the excitement we realized that this had been going on for sometime...since the top rail of the corral was bent...so we had to swap out a whole panel...after I took these photos they were still doing this and ended busting out the whole top rail...who would have thought a 2 year old would be able to push so hard on metal and bust it off that way...so after all that we were really glad that we had Chief scheduled to get gelded and get rid of all that male ego...just a side note we had our little Pride gelded too...he was born last year in March...the black and white paint...so now we are stud free and can let them all out to pasture now...YEAH!!!
