some awesome views of the winter wonderland
well these were taken out the truck window on our way home from my sisters after Christmas just outside of Great Falls MT...I love shooting out of a moving vehicle...it is fun to see how it will turn out...and in these you really get to see the sparkle of the snow...
these were taken just the other day as I was driving to Greybull to get my hair done...no I was not driving and shooting...I pulled over and took these...the rainbow was so awesome against the snow...it was actually a full rainbow but because the sun was so low and the rainbow was all the way over it I couldn't get the other side of it...

That is what's called a "sun dog." Nice
That is so pretty! I was going to say the same thing, growing up, my Dad told us they were called Sun Dogs and it meant that moisture was coming. That's so cool that your camera caught them so well!
