ooch!!!

Ok well this is the update as of the last couple of days...on Monday I was over at a friends house (Shannan Harper) visiting and making cookies and I stayed to help her with activity days...so around 4 Shane road over on a horse named Kit (since we are just across the street from each other at the property) and I opened the door and whistled at him...he came right up to the front of the house so we could talk and then some of the kids got to peek out and see them too...it was cute...then he left and I continued to help...next thing I know it is just after 5 and I was getting ready to leave and I see Shane walking over to the house...so I hurried and finished what I was doing and came out...then at the front door Shannon tells me that I need to take Shane to the hospital...I was very confused...I saw him standing at the door eating a cookie and nothing seemed wrong until I asked him what it was...he told me "I step out of the saddle and my right knee just gave out and buckled."...so needless to say we left RJ with Shannan and went straight to the hospital...now remember he had just had surgery on his left knee in December...so we get there and had to wait for Ken to get there since he was on call...and while waiting they took him to get x-rays...when Shane comes back Ken was there and he had looked at them and said it doesn't look good...we should see the Ortho. asap...so he put Shane in a brace so he couldn't bend his knee and away we went to get RJ...

so here it is Tuesday and I get Shane an appt. with his Ortho in Cody...Dr. Biles...and they squeeze him in, in between surgeries and told him to get there asap...so he got off work early and we headed up there around noon...we didn't have to wait long since Dr. Biles had just gotten out of surgery...which was nice...so he examines him and says "well it looks like you have 2 pretty extensive injuries here...and as long as you were your knee brace (that had to be locked in a 45 degree angle and stay on crutches for 2-3 wks) you should heal the one injury and then later we can go in and fix the other." I will have to ask Shane again what the names are exactly of the injuries...

so to sum it up...he is not happy...and really I don't and can't blame him...he just can't get a break from his knees being hurt...after the other surgery in Dec. he went 2 months with absolutely NO knee pain...which was so awesome considering it has been YEARS with it...I hope and pray it will heal quickly and that he can go back to not having any knee pain again...I love you Shane...
